Adventure Backlog: Besiege & Dark City: Kyiv - Collector's Edition + 4 More - Steam Deck Tested
Kia ora Everyone!
We’ve had a bit of an adventurous week, not by choice. We’re in the middle of moving moorings, so we haven’t been on our own one, and to top it off the weather packed in. We’re on the tail end of a southerly blast that had us a little worried the other night.
A couple of nights ago, as I was getting ready for bed, I spotted the neighbouring mooring sitting a little too close for comfort. We couldn’t tell if we were dragging or if the chain had just stretched out and brought us alongside it. After an hour of watching and scratching our heads, Eben said stuff it, let’s warp onto the next mooring over, we knew it was heavy enough and we’d sleep easier for it.
That turned into a mission. Eben jumped in the dinghy to run a warp line across, but the mooring hadn’t been used in about a year and was caked in mussels and gunk, so we spent a good 20 minutes cleaning it off first. Then we ran a second line to pull it onto the windlass, and it was only partway through hauling it up that we realised the lines were tangled and not running correctly. Just before midnight we finally had things swapped and crawled below cold, tired and a bit wired. The next morning we shifted back to ours, and now we’re just waiting on the mooring guys to come and do a proper swap.
Anyway, this is just a quick post of the Amazon games I managed to test from my backlog this week. It’s also why I haven’t done a blurb for each game like I promised, too tired and out of sorts after all that. I’ll do my best to get this week’s giveaways out in the next day or two.

These games have been sitting in the testing queue. Here’s how they performed:
We tested 6 games, all 6 work out of the box. As they’re all Amazon titles, they run on Junk Store Pro only. Most of these are point-and-click adventures, so worth a look if that’s your kind of game.
That’s all for this testing update.
Let us know what you are keen to try or what you thought of this week’s tested games!
For game-specific issues, feedback, or just a chat, you'll still find us on Discord, Reddit or Lemmy.
Cheers,
Annie & Eben (aka The Junk Store Team)
