Mafia II: Definitive Edition & Trash Goblin + 2 More - Steam Deck Tested | May 11

If you’ve been wondering what Eben has been up to since the v3 release, you’re not alone. He prefers writing code over writing posts, but this week (with a bit of prodding from me) he finally sat down to share what’s been keeping him busy in his latest dev update.
It highlights a few things he’s been cooking up, and he’s got his sights set on what’s next, which he shares some of in the post too, so stay tuned!

Epic Games Giveaway
This week featuring Trash Goblin, Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure.
Two things I always enjoy in a game: uncovering trinkets, and a relaxed sim vibe. It's a really chill one, unlike other simulators that can get a bit stressful trying to keep up. Staying on my Steam Deck for now so I can dip back in for short gaming sessions.

I really had to restrain myself with this game, I love puzzle games! You play as Jemma, navigating your way through the world, but it's not as straightforward as you'd think: your movements are on a grid that shifts every time you do! Great to pick up for short sessions, though you'll need your thinking cap on. Another one staying on my Steam Deck for evening downtime.

This week featuring Mafia II: Definitive Edition, Fruitbus.
Back in March last year Amazon gave this away, so I thought I'd better retest in case something had changed. Turns out you now need to set the game executable. Otherwise, still works out of the box without issue. Retesting reminded me I need to go back and play through the rest of the franchise.

A cozy sim where you run a food truck, or to be more accurate, a Fruitbus. Just don't play it if you're feeling hungry, otherwise you might find you need to end your gaming session sooner than expected.

Epic Games: Epic has two mystery games in store for us this week, I wonder what they could be? Fingers crossed they are worth the suspense.
Amazon Prime Gaming: Amazon Prime Gaming has a few worth grabbing too: a GOG code for 60 Minutes to Extinction: Escape Room, an Amazon code for Survival: Fountain of Youth (currently on the GOG Dreamlist), and an Epic code for Lethal Honor: Order of the Apocalypse. We’ll get these tested once they’re live.
