Kia ora Everyone!
We are heading into King’s Birthday weekend here in New Zealand. It means we get a public holiday on Monday (long weekend fun)! For us on the boat it doesn’t mean much, we work 7 days no matter what day of the week. That’s all good though, we enjoy what we do and most importantly it keeps us outta trouble.
Other than working, we haven’t gotten up to much as usual. We did go for a meal at the boat club with one of our mates on the weekend, which was good fun and a much-needed break from the boat. Funny thing is, after we got dropped off we went back to work! All good though, we’ve got some boat jobs and chores coming up soon, so that’ll force us to take a break.

Epic Games Giveaway
This week featuring Down in Bermuda, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft.
This is a lovely point-and-click cozy game. The setting is a perfect fit for us living aboard our boat moored at an island in the Hauraki Gulf. If you enjoy games like Samorost and Botany Manor, then you'll enjoy this game too. I look forward to getting back to this game to help Milton escape Bermuda and get back home!

Testing this game just reminded me of my massive backlog! I think I have all the Tomb Raider games on my backlog list, and there are soooooo many. Was good to test it out again. What wasn't so good was getting killed by the bats again, I keep getting the controls mixed up, you'd think I'd learn by now! Anyways, nice to see it given away again, it's such a great franchise!

This week featuring Hot Brass, Palindrome Syndrome: Escape Room, Space Grunts.
This top-down game was actually more fun than I thought it was going to be. I made it through training and was quite smug that I'd just charge into the game, hahaha yeah, nah things didn't go to plan. I promptly forgot a few of the controls and then got beat up and had to start over! I did enjoy testing this game and will give it another go just to see if I can at least remember a few more things from the tutorial!

I was looking forward to testing this game after last weekend's escape room giveaway, and I wasn't disappointed. It was good fun to test and the puzzles suited my brain this week. My only problem is now I have too many puzzle games to play! I'll have to save them for when my brain isn't so mushy and I'm able to concentrate, not sure when that'll be but hopefully not too far in the future. I really want to play these games!

This was a fun game and reminded me of the Heroes of Loot games. It has a very similar style, easy to pick up and play. This is one of those games that's good to keep installed for when you just need a quick break.
