About This Game
A turn-based tactical role-playing game wrapped in a visual novel, played as an anonymous foot soldier in the army the English king marched into Scotland to crush a rebellion. Your soldier signed up to escape trial for a crime he did not commit, and can come home cleared or stay missing on the battlefield. Combat takes account of weapon skill and the reach and type of the weapon, plus fatigue, wounds, how much armour covers what, and raw physical condition, so each exchange is worth thinking through. Loot off the battlefield crafts into poisons, medicines, equipment and crossbow bolts, and how you treat the men around you decides whether they help you later.
