About This Game
A co-op shooter set across continental Europe a month after the first game, with Horzine Biotech’s failed experiment loose and the cloned specimens, the Zeds, everywhere. Communications have failed, governments have collapsed and the survivors are hiding. You play among the civilians and mercenaries who banded together and set up privately funded bases, tracking outbreaks and going into them. Six players work through the waves together to a boss, or twelve take turns in versus mode, one team playing the humans in one match and the Zeds in the next. Perks carry talent choices that push different playstyles, the weapons run from military rifles through improvised junk to mad scientist hardware, and melee has attack types of its own. Zed Time drops everything into slow motion when it triggers. The gore is a selling point rather than a side effect, with limbs and blood left lying around the map, and the Zeds will take you apart the same way given the chance.
