About This Game
An adventure game about cheating at cards in 18th-century France, in which you learn the actual techniques and have to perform them under watch. Marking cards, false shuffles, deck switching and false deals are all taught and then tested, and the money buys you into higher and higher tables, from local card parlors up to the King’s own. Getting caught is its own problem. It was made by Nerial, who made Reigns, with artwork by Nicolai Troshinsky and an orchestral score by Andrea Boccadoro.
